All branding, materials, and content remain the exclusive property of SOTA and Solo House Ltd. These items are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used in any form without prior written permission from SOTA and Solo House Ltd.
While the name and branding may not be formally trademarked, all rights to use, reproduce, or adapt these materials are reserved. Unauthorized use or reproduction may result in legal action.
General

By booking any service, appointment, class or course with SOTA, you accept all relevant Terms & Conditions.

SOTA and Solo House LTD reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings at any time.

We reserve the right to make changes to pricing, policies, and course content without prior notice.

Under 16’s Makeup Masterclass Purchase
By booking, you agree to the following:

Our Under 16’s Masterclasses are not accredited but include practical, real-industry skills.

Each session builds on the last — Session 1 must be completed before moving on to Sessions 2 or 3.
-
Sessions can be repeated if desired, but the full fee applies for each session.
-
We aim to group students of similar ages where possible. For example, a school leaver or 16-year-old may not be placed in the same session as a 10-year-old.
-
These are small group sessions, not 1:1 lessons. While guidance is given to each student, not every participant will receive continuous one-to-one attention.

Courses are held at our state-of-the-art salon.
-
All materials are provided.
-
A starter kit list will be shared for those who want to build a personal kit.
-
A parent or guardian must sign a consent form on arrival.
-
All sessions take place in a safe, welcoming and fully supervised setting.
-
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
No amendments or date changes are allowed after confirmation.
-
Full payment is required in advance to secure a space.
-
Photos or short videos may be taken during sessions for use on our social media and marketing channels.
-
If you do not wish for your child to appear in any content, please inform us in writing before the class.

Please fill out the contact form with your full details, including the participant's name, age, and which session(s) you would like to book.

Once submitted, we will be in touch to confirm available dates and send payment instructions.

We do not chase payments. If payment is not made, the session date may be offered to someone else.
Online Makeup Course Purchases
By purchasing an online course, you agree to the following:
Delivery

Courses are delivered via download and are available after purchase.

Please ensure your email and contact details are entered correctly at checkout.

Due to the nature of digital content, no refunds or exchanges are available once a course has been accessed or downloaded.

All content is for personal use only.

You may not share, copy, reproduce, or resell any part of the course material.

All materials are copyright of SOTA and Solo House.

Ensure you have access to a device that supports video playback and PDF viewing.

Wedding Bookings
All wedding bookings are subject to the following terms:

Fill out our contact form with all required details, including:

Name
-
Date and time of the event

Location/venue (if applicable)

services required (e.g. hair, makeup, nails, lashes)

Total number of people needing hair and/or makeup
-
Designated contact person for communication

Travel costs will be quoted based on the location, if applicable.

The booking will only proceed once we receive all required information through the contact form. For weddings you will receive an additional form to fill out.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your wedding booking.
-
No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received.
-
The remaining balance is due 14 days before wedding.
-
One person must be appointed as the main contact for weddings and take responsibility for all payments and communications.
-
We do not chase payments — if payment is not made, the booking may be released and offered to someone else.
-
We strongly recommend a trial for the bride and other key members of the bridal party.
-
Bridal trials are charged separately and must be paid in advance.
-
Trials are non-refundable, regardless of event outcome.
-
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not be refunded, and full payment will still be required.

Changes to the number of clients or services may not be possible after the booking is confirmed. You will still be required to pay for the full party booking.

Bank details will be provided directly once your booking has been accepted and your wedding contract have been received.

Please notify us immediately when a payment has been made.
-
No booking is secured until your deposit has been received.
-
We do not follow up on unpaid deposits — if it’s not paid, your date may be offered to someone else.
Prom Booking Information
For all prom bookings, please complete the contact form with the following details:

Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll be in touch to confirm availability and create your booking through Fresha. By confirming the appointment, you agree to the full salon Terms & Conditions outlined on our Fresha profile. Please note, during busy periods we may require full payment upfront to secure your slot. If payment is not made, your appointment may be cancelled or offered to someone else.
If we ask for a deposit, they are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Free Brow Wax & Tint Offer for prom
A complimentary brow wax and tint is available with Alysha for anyone booking prom makeup at SOTA.

This service must be booked directly with Alysha via her online booking link, which will be provided once your prom appointment is confirmed.

When booking, the system will ask for your bank details — this is purely to secure the appointment, and you will not be charged on the day.
-
We recommend booking your brow wax at least one week before prom, to allow the skin time to settle before makeup application.
-
Brow wax appointments will not be accepted within a few days of the event, as freshly waxed skin can affect makeup finish and cause sensitivity.
Please note: If you fail to attend your brow appointment without cancelling in advance, a no-show fee will be charged to the card used when booking.
Payment Details

Bank details will be provided directly once your booking has been accepted if we ask for upfront payment or a deposit.

Salon Appointments
All appointments at SOTA are subject to the following policies:
Deposits & Payments

Deposits or full upfront payments may be required for certain services.
-
All bookings are made through Fresha, where you must agree to their terms and conditions before confirming your appointment.
Cancellations & No-Shows
-
At least 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
-
Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice may incur the full service fee.
-
You are responsible for managing your own appointments. Nail service appointments can be amended or rescheduled through the Fresha app.
-
These cancellation policies do not apply to Under 16’s Masterclass courses, prom, or wedding bookings.
-
No-shows will be charged in full and may be refused future bookings.
Punctuality
-
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
-
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled, and any deposit paid may be forfeited, or you will be charged for the full service.
Waiting Policy
-
We encourage clients to arrive just before their appointment time to maintain schedule and avoid overcrowding in the salon. In there unfortunate event of a staff member running behind, we will offer a refreshment and advise on how long we may be. Sometimes things happen which delay us in pour procedure.
Patch Testing
-
Patch tests are required for certain treatments, such as lash lifts and brow tinting.

It is your responsibility to book and complete the patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Failure to complete a patch test on time will result in cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit or full charge to your card according to Fresha’s terms and conditions.
Children in the Salon
-
We welcome families but kindly ask that children only attend appointments if they are receiving a treatment and are supervised at all times.
Booking & Communication
-
We do not monitor social media 24/7 for bookings. Please use the contact form for enquiries.
-
For everyday nail services, please use the online booking system via Fresha. Links are provided in the ‘Meet the Team’ section.
-
Messages sent via WhatsApp or other platforms will be responded to as soon as possible; if you do not receive a timely response, please use the booking link.
Respect & Behaviour

We do not tolerate rude or disrespectful behaviour towards our team.
-
Any inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted, and the salon reserves the right to refuse service.
-
No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
Junior Apprentice Services
-
We have a junior apprentice working on-site offering heavily discounted services.
-
These services do not include redos, as the apprentice is gaining hands-on experience and training.
-
Please be patient and understanding — appointment times listed on Fresha reflect her current availability, which may differ from the time a fully qualified technician might require.
Complaints
-
All complaints should be directed to Georgia Buller.
-
Complaints will be reviewed fairly and professionally.
-
Once a resolution is reached and communicated, the matter will be considered closed.
CCTV & Security
-
For the safety and security of our clients and staff, CCTV cameras are in operation throughout the salon.

Recorded footage is used solely for security purposes and will only be accessed when necessary.
Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse treatment if a client shows signs of illness or skin conditions that may be affected by the treatment.

Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment at the time of booking, our T and C’s are still In place for these situations
Illness Policy
-
If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment for the safety of all clients and staff.

We follow government and health authority guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Personal Belongings

Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times. The salon is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.
Photography & Social Media
-
Photos or videos may be taken during your visit for marketing and social media purposes.

If you do not wish to be included, please inform us prior to your appointment.
Client Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour towards all team members and clients. Any aggressive, rude, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service or immediate removal from the premises.
